Take action against pollution and join the local beach clean up on saturday, the 18th of September in Nuremberg.
About the project
Our oceans are dying, marine plastic pollution is an increasing problem – and even in our local area you will find waterways polluted with plastics and forests littered with trash. Beach Cleaner is a local organization advocating an eco-conscious way of living with the aim to rid our environment of waste and go plastic free.
Your tasks
Together with the beach cleaner we will collect the trash in nature, at the end there is a trash audit where the founder of beach cleaner will analyze the garbage so you can also learn more about waste and waste management.
In the spirit of avoiding single use plastic you bring your own gloves to put your hands-on doer attitude into action for a good cause.
Things you should know
During the event photos will be taken to share on social media, sometimes TV, and the Beach Cleaner website. Please note that the participation is at your own risk.
