Comme chaque année, Surfrider Foundation Europe organise, aux côtés de 5 autres O.N.G., la semaine de l’Océan : un temps fort pour sensibiliser le grand public et interpeller les décideurs sur les enjeux majeurs liés à la protection de l’Océan, des mers et du littoral ; et, plus généralement, de notre planète bleue ! Dans ce cadre, Surfrider Rhône organise une Initiative Océane ; autrement dit, une collecte de déchets suivie de leur qualification et quantification. Cette dernière étape est primordiale pour influer sur les réglementations et réduire les pollutions à leurs sources.
