PRAIA DAS MAÇÃS IS ONE OF MANY VERY SPECIAL AND BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN SINTRA WHERE APPLES USED TO FLOW FROM THE RIVER ONTO THE BEACH, HENCE IT’S NAME. NOWADAYS BESIDES APPLES NOT BEING SEEN IT IS MOSTLY COVERED WITH SMALL, MEDIUM AND LARGE WASTE FROM CHEMICAL RESIDUES TO QUE TIPS, BOTTLES, FISHING NETS AND SO ON.. LET’S GIVE IT A MONTHLY CLEAN SO IN THE CASE AN APPLE DOES REAPPEAR WE ALL CAN ACTUALLY SEE AND NOTICE IT GIVING THE BEACH THE CHANCE TO LIVE UP TO ITS NAME ONCE AGAIN.
